Three days into CRM 2011 and attendees are still bright eyed and bushy tailed. We have had many exciting sessions and events going on at the event this week. Ask the experts last night was very well attended. Customers lined up to speak to the 9 experts we had in attendance and when the reception ended at 7pm we still had customers and experts sticking around to continue networking.

Volker Hildebrand gave a session titled “SAP CRM solution roadmap: The latest features and future plans”. He had close to 200 people in attendance. All of them were there to learn about the latest features and benefits of SAP CRM 7.0 and hear about SAP’s roadmap for 2011. Volker discussed new analytical applications embedded in SAP CRM, how to expand your marketing reach and maximize your marketing spend, new capabilities to effectively run loyalty programs, new ways to run your call center more efficiently, as well as other future plans SAP has for CRM.

The 30 minute product demos have been the hit of the conference. Standing room only and people are lining up outside the room to get in!  SAP gave two demos on Tuesday, one on the SAP CRM 7.0 user interface and the other on SAP CRM enhancement package 1. These sessions were so popular we are repeating them today!

The conference ends tomorrow and then back home to Boston for me. I have to admit it has been really nice to be in Orlando in the 80 degree weather. If only I could have spent some time at the pool!
