CRM Expert - Volume 7 (2011), Update 2 Portal registration is a function of SAP CRM partner channel management that can help enterprises automate their partner registration process for applications such as leads, opportunities, customer accounts, contacts, quotes, and marketing development funds. However, you need to control the information your partners can access. Learn how to accomplish this by granting your partner access to a partner portal, which allows channel partner users to log in to your SAP CRM applications through a link from your company’s Web site. Partner users can only see the data that you make available to them and can only manipulate data if you give them the appropriate user permissions.
