Hi All,

I have a query for purchase order for which i have maintained the translation in RSZWOBJTXT. The translations are maintained in both French and Dutch.

When i open the portal in French all the query names are in french as per the translations maintained in RSZWOBJTXT.

Where as when i open the portal in Dutch all the query names are in English.

I have provided the attachment(bit.ly/LYfhZu) showing the screenshots.

Kindly let me know how to rectify this.

Thanks
Kumar

Kumar,

SAPexperts editor Scott Priest received this response from one of the SAPexperts authors:

I think the value that is maintained in the 'Language' column is the culprit here. I can see the language code for French is FR but for Dutch it is 'N..' something. Entire value isn't visible in the screenshot. Is it possible for you to checkout this code and let me know. At least for now I think problem is that portal isn't able to recognize the value maintained for Dutch and therefore it is rendering the default language that is English.

In addition, I am not sure what is the functionality here but if user is concerned only about language then he can try to set locale for geographical users. If this were a portal application, we could have achieved language translations easily by using 'Resource Bundles'. Well, enough of other data :) Just request the users to let us know what value is set for Dutch. There are ways to verify if portal is capable of rendering Dutch but we will discuss that later when user answers this question.

If you can clarify the full value for the Dutch language code,  we can follow up and get a more complete answer. Thank you!
