Bex Query Filter Variable Difference in Bex Web Analyzer and Webi

When running the Bex query in Bex Web Analyzer, the filter variable was accepting individual values like in list.  The same filter variable from the same Bex query used in Webi connected with BICS connection is accepting range values with start and end parameters.  Does BICS connection automatically updates the filter variable?  Webi version is BI4.0 SP2 Patch 14.

Hello Lucia,



Web Intelligence supports all the BEx Variable with one major exception, which is the Selection Option Variable.


In case your BEx Variable is a Selection Option Variable, then this becomes a range variable in Web Intelligence.
