Evaluating, implementing, and utilizing SAP TM

Here, speakers David DeStefano and Chris Moose talk about evaluating, implementing, and utilizing SAP Transportation Management. It's a sampling of the type of content offered at the Logistics and Supply Chain Management conference.

I hope this clip is useful. Please let me know what you think.

Planes, trains, automobiles, and a SCM speaker saves the day

It’s been an “interesting” week for those who made it to Milano for our Logistics and Supply Chain Management Conference. Planes, trains, and automobiles, and even a “rumor” that some speakers may have gotten there by … ox cart and in the cargo hold of container ships.

Volcanic ash in the atmosphere canceled thousands of flights across Europe, but even that wasn’t enough to stop most of our intrepid attendees, speakers, and staff from getting to Italia’s fashion capital for what was billed as Europe’s the most-comprehensive congress for supply chain delegates.

You could write a very entertaining twisted travel guide just from those stories everyone is telling right now over vino or cappuccino.

One such story comes courtesy of ace speaker Kevin McCollom of SAP Labs. After flight cancellations, delays, and many frustrating hours waiting in airports, Kevin finally arrived in Milano for his Day 1session on Wednesday. But that’s not where his hardship ended.

Ace Conference Producer Marcy Rizzo reports that Kevin’s room projector died just as he started his session, “An in-depth look at the latest SAP BusinessObjects Global Trade Services roadmap.”

Despite travel weariness, though, Kevin kept his cool and his good-natured attitude, and went to Plan B.

“Without missing a beat, he pulled up a chair, gathered the attendees together, and started a dialogue,” Marcy reports.. “No one left the room. The attendees couldn’t have been happier.”

No wonder attendees ALWAYS rate Kevin McCollom as one of our top speakers.

If you want to see Kevin and all of our other best-in-the-business speakers in action, please consider joining us for our Logistics and Supply Chain Management 2011 event next March in Orlando
